If you like silhouettes, this post is for you.

Imagine the frustration of sitting in traffic and watching a brilliant sunset fade from the sky.  Yup, that was me on Wednesday, stuck on Highway 12 trying to make it to the Laguna de Santa Rosa in an feeble attempt  to make a photograph of the vibrant colors.  As I’ve learned, a secondary sunset appears well after the main sunset.  The era of digital cameras has enabled goobers like me to make pictures long after the sun sets.  Patience and long shutter speeds really do work. The only problem?  Everything becomes a silhouette.

I still cringe at missing the earlier opportunity…
