Several people at Ridgway pool told me today that I have a pretty easy gig, this photography thing. Well it’s true, sometimes the right photo does fall out of the sky right in front of the camera. Those moments are icing on the cake.
What’s that saying? So close but so far away. That was the feeling on Tuesday at that Pool in Santa Rosa. While making pictures of people splashing around Ridgway is kind of easy, I was envious when a coworker showed up to swim around in the pool with kids in tow. I could’ve brought my own kid to the pool and been doing the same thing. Alas I was out of luck, destined to remain on the side of the pool sweating in the hot sun.
Icing on the cake.
