That all depends.  If you’re a top prospect, spring training started with Arizona Fall League. Or the Australian Baseball League and maybe the Caribbean League.  The Dominican Winter League, along with the Mexican Pacific League, Puerto Rican League and Venezuelan Winter League  send their league champions to compete in the Caribbean Series in February, which ends pretty much when Major League Baseball starts their annual right on Feb. 19, 2015.

Thats right.  90 days (depending on when you read this).

What can you do in 90 days to pass the time?

You could:

  • Watch 90 college football games, and become thoroughly bored.
  • Gain 90 pounds sitting on the couch watching said games.
  • Spend $90 on a gut-be-gone.
  • Mow the lawn 90 times, but we would need 90 days of rain rain to make everything grow.
  • Go skiing 90 times, but again, we need precipitation.
  • Go on a 90 day vacation, but that would cost a lot more than $90.
  • Unless you camped out in the backyard; then you would smell like your dog, you’d take on the appearance of Jeremiah Johnson and you would need a $90 makeover.
  • Play Monopoly once a day.
  • Make 90 chess moves and still get checkmated.
  • Try to blink only once a day for 90 days.  That would be a world record.
  • Play catch with your kid once a day for 90 days.
  • Watch 90 reruns of old World Series games and stay in that baseball spirit all winter long.
  • Dribble a basketball 90 times.
  • Take 90 photos (that’s an impossibility for me).
  • Watch a college basketball game everyday, but ignore the over glorified March Madenss. (By then it’s baseball season; so basketball will cancel itself out, sorta like algebra).
  • Tell your spouse you love them 90 times a day.

Or you could read this post once a day for 90 days whilst I show you some outtakes from the Giants run through the post-season.
